Always looked at as an expensive option by customers, but good photography brings a bespoke professional feel to most design work. At EC1 we use three photographers at present, but are always interested in other work as our experience tells us that they are not all the same.

The photographers we use offer our clients a broad range of experience and work and all excel in their own area. Location photography is perhaps the most unpredictable (excluding animals and children) as the weather is the one factor EC1 cannot change.

Food is perhaps the most misunderstood. Not for the design and layout ability or quality of the camera, but the lighting and the strict rules set out by trading standards that our photographers have to keep up with.

Sample products are perhaps looked at as the simplest of shots as there is no scene to create, nothing to cook or chill, no food stylist required but if they get the lighting wrong your product could look cheap, lacking in detail, flat or even incorrect for colour. This is why EC1 attend all photo-shoots on the client’s behalf and offers the client to attend too, as they are the best person to ask about their product.

For clients on a budget we also have extensive experience with several stock libraries offering inexpensive photography or licensed images for more control.
